Irene Red Velvet will make an acting debut in her first film.
On Thursday (07/16), SM Entertainment confirmed that Irene will star in her first film, 'Double Patty'.
As the agency representative said, "Irene will star in the movie 'Double Patty'. He will portray the character of a woman who aspires to be an emcee. "
Directed by Baek Seung Hwan, the film 'Double Patty' will follow the story of young people in developing their character and struggle to achieve their goals.
The film will begin filming in August 2020 and is targeted to be aired later this year.
