Breaking Records, TWICE Becomes K-Pop Girl Group with the Most Total Album Sales

TWICE again managed to break another new record by becoming a K-Pop girl group with the most total album sales.


After the comeback with the release of the 9th mini album 'MORE & MORE' on June 1, TWICE recorded total album sales of 563,000 copies on July 2.

With that achievement, TWICE broke the record as a K-Pop girl group that has sold the most albums since the Korean Gaon chart was established.

In addition, from her debut album 'The Story Begins' to her latest album 'MORE & MORE', girl groups have surpassed the sales of 5,260,000 albums in Korea. While in Japan, Jihyo Cs recorded sales of 3,570,000 copies, bringing the total to a girl group selling 8,880,000 copies since their 2015 debut.

Meanwhile, TWICE also became a girl group with the most trophy winners in the program with the acquisition of 106 trophies.
