Yeri Gives His Opinion Regarding Mint Chocolate Flavor, Pineapple Pizza, Pork Meat That Is More Deliciously Dipped In Sauce Or Doused With Sauce, And Cucumbers That Many Idols Hate.
Yeri Red Velvet expressed her opinion and taste about various types of food in her new reality show entitled "Yeri's Room". Interestingly, the opinion of the singer born in 1999 is so controversial.
First, mint chocolate which is one of the most popular flavors and becomes the favorite ice cream taste of V, RM (Rap Monster), Jin and Jimin BTS and Jisoo Lovelyz. Concerning this taste, Yeri said, "Isn't that 'yes' or 'yes'? I also like mint color."
Next, pizza with pineapple, according to Changbin Stray Kids and Hyebin Momoland, adding pineapple will ruin the taste of pizza. But Yeri just doesn't understand why there are people who don't like this combination.
Yeri even asked the "Yeri's Room" staff about why people hate the pineapple pizza so much. "Even when I eat rice noodles, I also order mixed pineapple rice," said the singer of "Psycho".
"Mint chocolate and pineapple pizza are two of the biggest food debates internationally, but what about in Korea? Yeri made sure to take into consideration the controversies of local foods such as sweet and sour pork.
Some people prefer to dip pork in sauce, while others like sauce that is poured into meat. Then what about Yeri? Apparently the owner's real name Kim Yerim was really the "poured sauce" team.
"Now, you can't argue about this. I'm completely in the pouring team," Yeri said. Yeri's opinion was indeed very unusual, even the staff balked at the thought of Yeri's preferences regarding soft food.
"I tend to like it when my food is soggy. I want my pork cutlet covered in sauce. Sweet and sour pork should also be completely soaked. If not, then why eat sweet and sour pork?" said Yeri.
And last but not least, Yeri revealed her opinion about cucumbers. This food is one of the most "controversial" foods in Korea, with EXO Baekhyun, Lia ITZY, TWICE Momo, Doyoung NCT and others all hating cucumbers.
And according to Yeri, they are 100 percent right. "Isn't that really a NO-NO?" said the youngest member of Red Velvet while putting on a disgusted face. Yeri often ate kimbap as a snack during a busy schedule, but if there were cucumbers in it, he stabbed her with chopsticks.
Yeri also hates Korean melons which are common among idols who don't like cucumbers. But strangely, Yeri said she likes to eat pickles, which are basically just cucumbers that are soaked in vinegar. No wonder the Yeri staff seemed crazy!
