Gaon Chart again announced a list of albums and songs in South Korea that were successfully obtained official certificates.
Starting January 1, 2018, the Gaon Chart provides Platinum certificates for an album that has sold 250 thousand copies. While the song will get a Platinum certificate if it reaches more than 100 million streaming or 2.5 million downloads.
According to data released by the Gaon Chart on Thursday (11/06), NCT Dream's latest mini album titled "Reload" won the Double Platinum certificate after selling more than 500 thousand copies.
Although NCT Dream had previously received a Platinum certificate in 2019 with the album 'We Boom', this was their first time to win a Double Platinum certificate from Gaon.
In addition to NCT Dream, the mini album 'DYE' GOT7 'and Suho EXO's solo mini album entitled' Self-Portrait 'each received a Platinum certificate after selling more than 250 thousand copies.
IU's' Blueming 'song,' METEOR 'Changmo,' Remember Me 'Gummy,' Late Night 'Noel,' BOL4 'Bomb,' MC the Max 'One Day Only' and 'Paris in the Rain' Lauv also each won Platinum certificate after getting more than 100 million streams.
