'The King: Eternal Monarch' airs as a replacement for 'Hyena' in the slot Friday - Saturday Night. This drama, written by Writer Kim Eun Sook, will air starting April 17.

"The King: Eternal Monarch" continues to present the latest teaser ahead of airing. This time, the SBS drama production team released more details about the relationship between Lee Gon (Lee Min Ho) and Jung Tae Eul (Kim Go Eun).

"The King: Eternal Monarch" is a fantasy drama about two parallel universes. One universe is a democracy that resembles modern Korea as we know it, while the other is an alternative universe where Korea is an empire ruled by a single king.

"The King: Eternal Monarch" will feature the struggle of Emperor Lee Gon in collaboration with detective Jung Tae Eul to close the portal between the two worlds and save everyone.

The teaser opens with Lee Gon who remembers the day in his childhood when a coup was carried out against his father. He asked, "Will it be here? The reason I survived that day?"

Jung Tae Eul was then heard asking, "Are you really from a different world?" and Lee Gon said, "It took me 25 years to meet you". But Lee Gon's words were immediately followed by another voice that rang with a warning, "You saw something that you shouldn't have."

Lee Gon said, "I didn't go out to catch someone, I'm here to look for faces that only I can find." The teaser ended with Jung Tae Eul crying in the arms of Lee Gon. "Between one and zero. The person I love," concluded Lee Min Ho.

Meanwhile, "The King: Eternal Monarch" is set to appear as a substitute for "Hyena" in the slot Friday - Saturday night. This drama, written by writer Kim Eun Sook, will air starting April 17th. Do not miss to watch ya.
