Some time ago, one of the BTS members namely Rap Monster (RM) was known to have just released a solo song in collaboration with American rapper Lil Nas X. The song was a remix of "Old Town Road" and was changed to "Seoul Town Road" which featured RM sang the original rap lyrics for the song.
Lil Nas X has uploaded several versions of "Old Town Road" featuring other top artists. Call it like Billy Ray Cyrus, Diplo, Young Thug, and Mason Ramsey have all worked together with the rapper to sing a remix of "Old Town Road".
A few days after the song's release, the RM collaboration song surprisingly broke records on Spotify's website instantly. The song reportedly debuted on the Spotify Global Top 200 chart in 114th place. Not only that, the song also automatically became the song with the highest position for Korean soloists.
"Seoul Old Road" also became the Biggest Debut Day for Korean soloists with 873,284 times heard. Until now, the song has been heard 11.6 million times on Spotify in total. Not only that, RM is the first Korean soloist (and by far the only one) to have many entries on the Global Top 200 chart. This includes the song "Seoul" which is part of the album "Mono" successfully ranked 197th.
RM itself is currently busy with activities with BTS. BTS has just finished their "Speak Yourself" concert tour in Japan. Suga cs will soon resume the concert at King Fahd International Stadium, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on 11 October.
After that, BTS will officially close the concert tour with a 3-day concert performance on October 26, 27 and 29. The concluding concert will be held at Seoul Olympic Stadium, South Korea.
