One of the films from South Korea that has been eagerly awaited by fans in the homeland, 'EXIT' has finally started airing in Indonesian cinemas.

As was often reported before, 'EXIT' is a disaster-themed film starring two popular stars, SNSD's Yoona and actor Jo Jung Suk.

Tells the story of an unemployed man named Yong Nam (Jo Jung Suk), who has not gotten a decent job despite having graduated from university for years. The only ability he has is the ability to climb rocks that he often does during college.

While holding a large birthday party for his mother at a hotel, Yong Nam met with Eui Joo, who worked as an assistant manager at the hotel. Both are members of the rock climbing club on campus and Yong Nam once expressed his feelings to Eui Joo while in college, even though he was eventually rejected. But until now Yong Nam still keeps his feelings for the beautiful girl.

When the birthday party was almost over, an incident suddenly occurred in the city that involved a poison gas. Toxic gas that spreads rapidly can cause the victims difficulty breathing, causing death.

Seeing the upheaval that occurred in the city, Yong Nam and Eui Joo immediately ordered his family to immediately go up to the building to avoid being contaminated with the poison gas.

This disaster-themed film presents a tense rescue action, especially when Jo Jung Suk and Yoona do the climbing up to run on the building. Even so, the director can still slip comedy elements in almost every scene.

In some scenes involving the life and death of the victims of poison gas, the audience will actually be made to laugh with tantrums and silly expressions from the players. The humor that is inserted also does not seem too forced and remains in line with the theme of the disaster carried.

In addition to entertaining action and comedy scenes, the family drama story in this film also deserves a thumbs up. Yong Nam's character that changes from a 'loser' to a 'hero' who is willing to sacrifice for his family will certainly make the audience shed tears, even though the male audience.

Do not miss the cool OST titled 'Superhero' sung by Lee Seung Hwan also certainly will make the audience at home not to move from the chair, even though the film is over.

Finally, ‘EXIT’ is a tense disaster and survival film, but still has a lightweight plot and comedy that can be enjoyed by all ages.

The film 'EXIT' can be watched at CGV cinemas throughout Indonesia starting today, August 21, 2019. (www.kpopchart.net)
