On Tuesday (27/08) there was news from South Korean media saying that Lee Hong Ki had received a notice to carry out his mandatory military service as an active soldier.
FNC Entertainment as the agency later confirmed the news by saying, "Lee Hong Ki will be drafted into the army as an active soldier on September 30."
Ahead of the implementation of his mandatory military service, lately Lee Hong Ki was preoccupied with various activities, ranging from the FTISLAND concert to the preparation for the musical 'I Loved You'.
Because the musical 'I Loved You' only started 10 days before he entered the army, Lee Hong Ki is certain to only participate briefly in the musical and will perform for the last time on September 29, the day before entering military service.
