According to the schedule, the 'Zpop Dream Audition Indonesia' was held on Saturday, August 10th, starting at 9:00 WIB.
The participants who came from various cities in Indonesia flocked to MNC Studios located in Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta, to show their talents and abilities.
Through this audition, the participants were asked to show their singing and dancing skills in front of the judges. Some judges came directly from South Korea, as representatives of the Zenith Media Contents agency.
Brandon Choi as Director (International Business) of Zenith Media Contents explained, "Zpop Dream Audition is an audition for the younger generation. Generation Z means those who were born in the year 99. We have K-Pop, J-Pop, American Pop, but Z-Pop is a genre that was created for Generation Z. ”
"We are preparing this project for Generation Z in Asia, but we also plan to expand this project throughout the world. So we hope that we will also be able to meet young people from other countries, such as Europe and America. "
He also added, "We plan to find five members in each country, out of a total of seven countries. Then two members will debut as Global Z-Stars, while three members will debut as Local Z-Stars. "
"We already have the first generation of Z-Boys and Z-Girls. They debuted in February at Jamsil Stadium and they are the first generation of Z-Stars. So the participants chosen from the second audition will debut as the second generation of Z-Stars, "he concluded.
The audition winner will be chosen as the next Z-Stars. After that, the next Z-Stars will undergo a training period in South Korea and will only be contested in April 2020.
This 'Zpop Dream Audition' program can later be witnessed through the MNC Now application starting next October. While the final episode will be aired on GTV on November 24 this year.
