tvN quietly prepared a new drama titled "Cheap Cheonlima Mart" (the title of the translation can still be changed). This drama was adapted from a popular webtoon with the same title.
On Tuesday (23/7), tvN confirmed the ranks of players who had agreed to take part in "Cheap Cheonlima Mart" starting from Lee Dong Hwi, Jung Hye Sung, Kim Byung Chul, Park Ho Dan to Lee Soon Jae.
"Cheap Cheonlima Mart" itself tells the story of employees in a shop that is almost bankrupt because it has the principle that employees are kings rather than customers. When the manager tried to revive the store, they had to fight the boss of the "bulldozer man" who wanted to destroy the shop.
Lee Dong Hwi will play the role of Moon Seok Gu, a stupid shopkeeper who wants to make Cheonlima Mart the number 1 store. Although he looks stupid, he dreams of becoming an employee at Daemae Group's parent company by reviving the store.
Jung Hye Sung will take on the role of team leader Jo Mi Ran, who was sent to Cheonlima Mart at the behest of Daemae Group's executive director to monitor who is someone who wants to destroy the store.
Then Kim Byung Chul will act as Jung Bok Dong, boss of Cheonlima Mart who wants to take revenge on Daemae Group after being demoted from the company. He intends to destroy Cheonlima Mart.

Meanwhile, "Cheap Cheonlima Mart" will be directed by Baek Seung Ryong who previously worked on dramas and variety shows such as "Surplus Princess", "Actor School" and "Saturday Night Live Korea". The drama is scheduled to air in the second half of 2019.
