Early this morning Red Velvet surprised fans by releasing a teaser photo titled 'The ReVe Festival'.
SM Entertainment later confirmed that 'The ReVe Festival' will be a celebration for the variety of music that will be released by Red Velvet this year.
The festival will begin with the release of the mini album "The ReVe Festival: Day 1" on June 19.
'ReVe' is a combination of the words 'Red' and 'Velvet', and also the name of the robot from their second concert entitled 'REDMARE'. In addition, 'ReVe' can also be interpreted as 'dream' in French.
