Korean netizens' reactions to B.I leave iKON and YG Entertainment - How about the response of South Korean netizens after B.I was confirmed leaving the iKON boy group and YG Entertainment agency?
On Wednesday (12/06) K-Pop fans around the world were made excited after B.I reportedly left the group and its agency.
The news was the aftermath of drug transactions carried out by B.I along with a dealer in 2016 ago.
Although he claimed to have never used these drugs, B.I finally decided to leave the group. The YG Entertainment agency has also ended their exclusive contract with him.
In response to the news, Korean netizens on the Nate website gave various comments such as:
"If he doesn't use the medicine, why does he have to leave the group and break his contract? Ha ha ha,"
"I would bet 100% if he would move to another agency and debut as a soloist,"
"Isn't it strange that YG broke his contract even though he didn't use drugs? This is very different from the way YG usually resolves problems. They usually say, "He didn't do it" and ignored all negative comments, then sent the artist abroad, "
"The contract should not need to be terminated, but YG must be closed,"
"But why didn't they break the contract with G-Dragon, T.O.P and Seungri?"
"It's really a bad agency, hahaha,"
"What is the YG standard in handling their problems? Why did they just end the contract with him but not with the others? "And various other comments.
