But an unexpected controversy arose when the photo studio that Suzy posted was different from what Yang Ye Won meant. As a result, studio Once Picture protested and filed a complaint against Suzy.
More than a year passed, today, Thursday (13/6), a judge from Seoul's Southern District Court issued his official ruling. In his ruling, the court endorsed the lawsuit of CEO Once Picture, named Lee.
The court also ordered Suzy and two other people to pay compensation of 20 million won (around Rp. 241 million) in compensation. In addition, the claims made against the government were also stopped.
Previously, studio Once Picture stated that Suzy was also responsible for the loss they felt. Although it cannot be denied if the artist accidentally does that.
On the other hand, Suzy expressed her personal desire to apologize. Not only that, Lee Min Ho's ex-lover even posted his personal apology through social media. However, Suzy felt that this problem could not be solved simply by paying compensation.
"Even though we feel moral responsibility, mediation and compensation are totally different things," said legal representative Suzy. "We believe that this will be a precedent for limiting freedom of expression for celebrities. We find it difficult to provide financial compensation."
