Recently, Ma Dong Seok attended the Cannes International Film Festival in order to promote his latest film entitled 'The Gangster, The Cop, The Devil'.
"The Gangster, The Cop, The Devil" is the latest Ma Dong Seok film, Kim Moo Yeol, and Kim Sung Kyu, which has been aired in South Korea on May 15 and has gotten more than 2 million viewers.
While attending a press conference for the film at the Cannes International Film Festival, Ma Dong Seok was asked about the remake version of "The Gangster, The Cop, The Devil" in the United States, which will star with actor Sylvester Stallone.
He said, "We will remake the Hollywood version together, so in the future we will meet often."
When asked about other offers from Hollywood, Ma Dong Seok leaked that he had previously been offered to play the movie "John Wick 3". "The director (Chad Stahelski) said he liked the action scenes I did, watched my films before, and finally contacted me, but unfortunately I couldn't join."
Ma Dong Seok explained that he had to refuse the role offer, because at that time he was filming the film 'The Gangster, The Cop, The Devil'.
‘John Wick 3’ is one of the Hollywood action films that got great success this year, thanks to the self-defense shown by Keanu Reeves and other players, including two Indonesian actors, Yayan Ruhian and Cecep Arif Rahman.
