Korean netizens mention the number of MV BLACKPINK views which are mostly from Indonesia - South Korean netizens recently discussed the number of BLACKPINK music video views, most of which came from Indonesian fans.
As reported on Saturday (11/05) yesterday, 'DDU-DU DDU-DU' became the first K-Pop group music video to ever touch the number 800 million views on Youtube.
The record is certainly extraordinary, considering that currently only BLACKPINK is a K-Pop group that is able to reach the number of views.
However, the large number of views of BLACKPINK's music videos actually reaped a negative response from Korean netizens, who said that the number of views was mostly contributed by Southeast Asian countries, especially Indonesia.
Like their comments on the Nate site:
"Really great Youtube girls. The victory of the Indonesian people, "
"YG is really being guided by God when adding members from Thailand. If BLACKPINK doesn't get support from Southeast Asian people, they won't be able to be like now, "
"Pertama The first K-Pop group? Mu You mean all of these views are thanks to Southeast Asian members and their fans in Southeast Asia. What's great? Media play like this makes me feel very sad. That only makes people hate them more, "
"But all the views are only from Indonesia and Thailand,"
"Nobody is able to defeat Southeast Asian people in terms of numbers,"
"Thailand, Vietnam and Indonesia all stream for Lisa. If you exclude the number of views from these countries, BLACKPINK might only get 1/5 of the current number of views, "and various other comments.
