Roy Kim and Eddy Kim's case will also be forwarded to the prosecutor's office for sharing photos taken illegally. They claimed to share photos they downloaded from the internet in group chat, but did not take photos or record videos themselves.
Five people were forwarded to the public prosecutor's office, including Mr. Kim, the former MD (promoter) of Club Arena who is part of the group chat on charges of recording and spreading illegal videos.
Meanwhile, the investigation around Seungri, which is also part of the group chat, is still ongoing. He was named a suspect on charges of sharing illegal recordings, but it has not been confirmed whether he participated in recording the video or not. Because Seungri was also named a suspect for several other charges including the mediation of prostitution and bribery, the police planned to forward the case to the prosecutor's office after all investigations were completed.
