In the event, Seon Jong Moon gave clarification regarding the closeness and connection between Seungri and Kang Daniel. "That is absolutely not true (Kang Daniel is a close friend of Seungri). Kang Daniel has never met personally with Seungri and he has never been to the Burning Sun club," said the lawyer.
Previously, it was rumored that Kang Daniel had a backing of a woman in her 40s from Hong Kong. This woman was said to be the same person as a rich Taiwanese woman who invested heavily in the Sun Burning nightclub that Seungri had once run.
"Once around the Wanna One concert show, Seungri came as a senior artist," continued lawyer Kang Daniel. "At the moment we are checking content from rumors circulating, and we will take legal action after making the necessary steps."
"We do our best so that Kang Daniel can continue his activities in the entertainment world as usual," he concluded. Meanwhile, Kang Daniel sat in a dispute with his agency regarding the contents of the contract.
