Indonesian fans apologize after being blasphemed by Korean netter for supporting Seungri - Indonesian Fans Support At Seungri Gets Criticism From Korean K-Pop And Netter Fans.
The scandal involving Seungri is the hottest issue in South Korea and the world. The former Big Bang member was determined as an alleged provision of prostitution services. He is also involved in a problem chat group that the police are investigating. The chat group used Jung Joon Young to share illegal sex videos.
Sunday (3/17), around 200 Indonesian fans gathered to provide support to Seungri. Most of those who gather at the place where Seungri is scheduled to hold a concert are female fans. They said they would support Seungri no matter what. They also claimed not to believe that Seungri did everything he was accused of.
"Our support for him does not mean supporting prostitution. We just want the problem to be resolved quickly," wrote a fan.
Unfortunately the support of Indonesian fans at Seungri has drawn criticism from many circles, both K-Pop fans and netizens. Even Korean netizens blatantly blaspheme Seungri fans in Indonesia, assuming they support celebrities who have committed many crimes.
"They obviously don't have a brain," commented the netter. "Boy, you have to throw away what you need to throw away," added another netter. "I think I know the level of Indonesia, the perfect country for women to be sexually abused if they are traveling alone," said Netter. "Because of people like them, casual celebrities act criminal and think they can be free in any way," said Netter. "Seungri can go from Korea and live there," concluded another.
In response, representatives of Seungri fans in Indonesia released an apology letter through social media. "We clarify that the purpose of our meeting last Sunday was solely to express our desire that Seungri follow all investigations and legal processes, without harassing the true victims of these cases," the letter read.
"We understand that our actions have caused a lot of disappointment from the community and from fellow VIPs (as Big Bang fans). We sincerely apologize for all these problems and inconveniences," read the next letter.
