One group that cannot be taken lightly is GOT7. The group which is fronted by Jackson CS has won many achievements both on a domestic or international scale. One of their achievements was the "K-Pop Star of the Year" award from the JOOX Thailand Music Awards 2019.
JOOX Thailand Music Awards 2019 determines the winner using voting from JOOX application users worldwide. This voting period was carried out in the last 11-28 February 2019 period. In this category, GOT7 fought against other large K-Pop groups such as Bangtan Boys (BTS), EXO, Wanna One, Black Pink.
This is the second year that GOT7 won the award. Until now the group made by JYP Entertainment was able to maintain its existence as a popular group by occupying the first position on the "JOOX TH KPOP" chart for 18 consecutive weeks.
However, it's a pity that GOT7 was unable to attend the award ceremony due to a busy schedule. Instead of managing director of JYP Entertainment Thailand, Mr. Kuae Kim received the award by giving a short speech. "GOT7 won this for 2 years in a row, so it's an honor. GOT7 will definitely come back with a song and a good performance," said the JYP representative. Congratulations to GOT7!
