Chinese Burning Sun Employees 'Anna' Positive Narcotics But Difficult to Arrest - MBC reported news about Anna, a Chinese woman suspected of being a drug dealer at Sun's Burning Night Club.

MBC reported news about Anna, a Chinese woman suspected of being a drug dealer at Sun's Burning Night Club.

The controversy over the Burning Sun nightclub allegedly involving Seungri is now being investigated by the police. Tuesday (3/19), MBC's "Newsdesk" reported news about a woman known as MD (merchandiser, also known as a promoter) at the nightclub. Anna, a Chinese woman, was interrogated by police on charges of selling drugs to VIP clients at the Burning Sun.

Previously, Anna was known to have shared photos with Seungri on social media. But Seungri denied knowing the woman and claimed to take a photo with her at the nightclub because she was asked. Anna was also one of the women who sued Kim Sang Kyo, the man who first exposed Burning Sun to the public on charges of assault in February, for sexual harassment.

According to MBC, Anna's hair and urine were tested for drugs by National Forensic Services on March 16 during the first investigation. As a result, Anna's hair is positive for methamphetamine, ecstasy, opium, marijuana and ketamine.

Anna was arrested for using ecstasy and ketamine in September 2018, but the test results showed a different drug this time. He will undergo a second examination in which the police will investigate who and how he got the drug.

"The liquid seized was eye drops for my cat because I had a cat. White powder (taken by the police) was detergent," Anna said in an interview with KBS. When asked if he had ever sold drugs, Anna denied the allegations.

The former Burning Sun employee testified that Anna distributed drugs to VIP Chinese customers. MBC News asks customers whether Anna distributes drugs to other Chinese customers. "Everyone knows. They share information like who can supply drugs to each other," the customer said.

The police were investigating the truth and scale of Chinese customers who received and used drugs from Anna and whether Burning Sun employees knew about the suspicion of drug distribution to Chinese customers.

The police said that it was less likely to issue an arrest warrant because Anna came to the police station voluntarily. But the arrest warrant must still be submitted.
