On April 13th, fans also heard good news from Yong Hwa. FNC Entertainment as the agency happily revealed that the artist had been assigned to special forces.
"Jung Yong Hwa recently completed a five-week basic military training in a training center with excellent results," the agency said. "And he has been assigned as special forces 702 in the Second Corps after being a volunteer."
"Jung Yong Hwa will carry out his military duties faithfully and in good health in the future," continued the agency. "Please support Yong Hwa till the day he returns.
The Special Attack Regiment 702, also known as the "Phoenix Unit," was formed on October 1, 1982 as the first special forces unit in the country. Meanwhile, Jung Yong Hwa is enlisted in the military on March 5 and is scheduled for completion on December 4, 2019. (wk / kr)
