GFRIEND is ready to release debut album in Japan - Girl group GFRIEND plans to release their first album in Japan.
The news was delivered directly by Source Music as the agency on this Friday (23/02).
The agency stated, "GFRIEND will officially debut in Japan. They have signed a major Japanese label, King Records and are targeting to release their debut album in May. "
GFRIEND is known to debut in South Korea in 2015 with the song 'Glass Bead' and gained great popularity with popular songs like 'Me Gustas Tu', 'Rough', to 'Love Whisper'.
GFRIEND has also just held their first solo concert since their debut titled 'Season of GFRIEND' in January, and plans to hold a concert tour in Asian countries, including Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore and Japan.
GFRIEND is not the only group to debut in Japan in the near future, as SEVENTEEN has announced that they will be releasing their first Japanese album to be released in May. (www.kpopchart.net)
