Son Ye-jin faced sharp criticism regarding her appearance at the 2026 Golden Camera Awards.

Son Ye-jin recently attended the 46th Golden Camera Awards, which took place on June 8, 2026, but her appearance drew heavy criticism from netizens. Many fans expressed their disappointment on social media, highlighting her hairstyle, shoes, and overall appearance, which they considered inappropriate.

Some comments included, "Even Goddess Ye-jin can have a bad hair day," and "Why is her styling like this?" Many felt that her short haircut looked outdated, resembling a 2000s style. Furthermore, the black high heels she wore were deemed inappropriate with her soft pink, sleeveless dress. Other comments included, "Change the stylist team," and "Who chose the black shoes for that dress? No taste at all," and one even questioned, "Is the stylist an anti-fan?"

Son Ye-jin attended the event held at CG Art Hall in Gangnam, Seoul. Despite widespread criticism of her appearance, she won the Best Actress award for her role in the film "No Choice." This was a rare moment where Son Ye-jin's fashion choices were more in the spotlight than her acclaimed acting achievements.

Amidst the negative comments, Son Ye-jin also shared happy moments from her family life. She posted photos and videos of her spending time at the beach with her young son. In her Instagram post, she captioned it, "A spoonful of memories," showing her happily smiling next to her son against the backdrop of the beach. Although her son's face was covered with stickers, his small hands were visible, showing off his adorable growth.

The accompanying video showed her son trying to catch crabs, with a figure believed to be her husband, Hyun Bin, assisting him. Fans responded positively, highlighting the sweet family moment and their enjoyment of their vacation. Son Ye-jin and Hyun Bin, both renowned actors in Korea, married in 2022 and welcomed their son in November of the same year.

Currently, Son Ye-jin is preparing for the release of the Netflix series "The Scandal" and is making various variety show appearances. Meanwhile, Hyun Bin is also scheduled to star in the Disney+ series "Made in Korea 2."
