LE SSERAFIM shared a unique story about their "crying selfies" and their beauty.
In the latest episode of SBS's "AGJ," which aired on June 1, 2026, the members of LE SSERAFIM discussed various interesting topics while promoting their new song, "BOOMPALA." During the discussion, they confidently praised each other's visuals while revealing each other's unique habits.
During the show, they shared their experiences about the times when they felt most beautiful. Huh Yunjin confidently stated, "I think I'm at my peak right now. I went blonde again for the first time in a while, and it really boosted my confidence." Hearing her statement, the other members immediately teased her, including Hong Eunchae, who said, "Even on the way to the set today, he kept saying, 'I'm at my peak.'" Sakura added with a laugh, "These days, she looks in the mirror every day and says, 'Blonde hair really suits me.'"
When they had to choose who they considered the group's "number one visual," all the members unhesitatingly chose themselves. Meanwhile, Kang Sora and Lee Suji also chose themselves, adding to the fun. Kang Sora joked, "I have a mature beauty that comes with age," and added, "I'm the only one here who can pull off the sexy concept."
The discussion then moved on to the moments when they felt most beautiful. Kim Chaewon said, "There are days when my makeup is perfect. Oddly enough, it's usually on days when filming ends early. When that happens, I can't help but think, 'It would be a shame to wash my face today.' So I end up taking a lot of photos or even turning on a live broadcast."
Hearing this, Sakura revealed, "There are times when I stop mid-makeup removal because it feels so wasteful," and added, "Personally, I think I'm most beautiful when I cry." When I cry, I take selfies. When things get tough or when I'm crying, I look in the mirror and think, 'I look pretty, so everything will be okay.' It actually helps me calm down.
Next, Kazuha added that she once took a selfie after crying while watching a movie alone, describing the experience as romantic. Kim Chaewon also shared her experience, saying, "I don't cry often, so every time I do, I feel like it's something to document."
Meanwhile, Huh Yunjin made a surprising confession, saying, "I'm a very easily moved person. I have a separate folder specifically for crying selfies." The studio's reaction was full of surprise, as even the other members didn't know this. When a photo of Huh Yunjin crying was shown, Lee Suji commented, "Even when you're crying, you still look pretty."
However, Hong Eunchae was the only member who didn't seem to agree. She drew laughter when she said, "I really don't understand why they take selfies while crying. They always post them in the group chat. I don't know how I'm supposed to respond to that."
