Kang Mina is reportedly in talks to star in a new romantic comedy drama titled "Protect Me" alongside actor Bae In Hyuk.
On June 9, a media outlet reported that Kang Mina had received an offer to play the female lead in the drama.
In response to the news, her agency, Story J Company, stated, "Kang Mina has received an offer to appear in the new drama 'Protect Me' and is positively reviewing it."
The drama, adapted from a webtoon, tells the story of an office romance that brings together two individuals with trust issues.
The story follows a former national team detective who goes undercover as the secretary of a third-generation chaebol heir for a mission.
Both are depicted as individuals who struggle to trust themselves or others, ultimately protecting each other.
Kang Mina has reportedly received an offer to play the character of Kang Hae Ra, while Bae In Hyuk was previously also reported to be considering the male lead role.
