Director Yeon Sang Ho's "Colony" has topped the Korean box office for 16 consecutive days, drawing over 4 million viewers.


Directed by Yeon Sang Ho, "Colony" has maintained its top spot at the Korean box office for 16 consecutive days.


According to data from the Korean Film Council, the film attracted 117,729 viewers in just one day, June 5th.


To date, the total number of viewers who have seen "Colony" in theaters has reached over 4 million.


The film's synopsis tells the story of survivors isolated in a locked building due to a mysterious infectious outbreak.


The survivors must fight hard against the infected, who continue to evolve unpredictably within the building.


Director Yeon Sang Ho's latest work stars a stellar cast including Jun Ji Hyun, Koo Kyo Hwan, and Ji Chang Wook.


"Colony" proved to be a break-even success just 10 days after its official release last May.
