Sian officially became the new leader of USPEER during their first debut anniversary fan meeting ahead of their comeback and new mini-album release.
USPEER celebrated their first debut anniversary with a fan meeting titled "2026 TEAM US," held in Seoul on June 6th.
The event, held in two sessions, was a special opportunity for the group to reunite with fans after a long hiatus.
The fan meeting was free of charge as a token of appreciation for the fans who have faithfully awaited the girl group's activities.
The members expressed their joy at holding their first fan meeting and celebrating their first anniversary in the South Korean music industry.
One of the main agenda items was the selection of a new leader after Yeowon decided to leave the group due to health reasons.
The new leader of USPEER was determined through a combination of previous online voting results and on-site fan votes.
After all votes were tallied, Sian was officially chosen as the new leader, who will lead USPEER's activities throughout 2026.
"As I lead the team in 2026, I will work hard to align the voices of the fans, the company, and the members," said Sian.
"I will give my best to be a leader who never disappoints," Sian added after being announced as the new leader of USPEER.
Closing the celebration, USPEER encouraged fans to look forward to their first mini-album, "BITE DISTRICT," which will be released on June 17th.
