Throughout the concert tour and recent activities, Giselle did not appear to have any bruises on her face. However, when he was at the Chinese airport, he was seen to have scars.
aespa arrived at the Chinese airport on Sunday (21/7) for their group schedule. The arrival of Karina CS was immediately greeted enthusiastically by local fans. However, many people mistakenly focus on the portrait which clearly shows the scars on Giselle's face.
Throughout the concert tour and recent activities, Giselle did not appear to have a bruise on her eye. However, while at the Chinese airport, the idol born in 2000 was seen to have a scar on the lower part of his face.
Giselle's bruises made South Korean netizens concerned. Several netizens remembered that the idol had confessed that he was hurt last April. However, the scar apparently still exists today. Giselle has been covering the scar with make-up.
"He hurt himself worse than I thought. Seriously, it's a blessing that he didn't hurt his eyes[sic!]," wrote one netizen. "Hul, so he hid it and still appeared on stage all this time? I don't know because he's very careful about it[sic!]," added another.
"Hul, if it looks like that in the photo, it must be very dark in real life, why does it last so long? [sic!]," said another netizen. "They can hide something so red with makeup? I don't know[sic!]," added another.
On the other hand, Giselle recently underwent a photo shoot and interview with Elle Korea for the August edition. On that occasion, the idol discussed the success of completing aespa's first full-length album activities.
"Throughout promotional activities, I could feel that not only myself and the members, but also everyone in the agency was working hard together with one mind. Everyone was fully motivated and achieved good results together. For aespa's second world tour, we plans to reach more fans not only through performances but also through various events," said Giselle.
Giselle also revealed aespa's strength compared to other groups. "Each musician has their own unique color, but consistency in presenting and highlighting a clear concept is aespa's strength. The members also actively enjoy our different world views every day," he said. (wk/charity)
