Shin Seung Ho said that he first started working as a bodyguard for Red Velvet. Unexpectedly, the actor apparently forgot that he had once guarded Irene CS.
Shin Seung Ho was a guest star on the YouTube channel "MMTG" on July 11. Not alone, the actor came with Jo Jung Suk, Lee Joo Myung, Han Sun Hwa to promote their latest film "Pilot" which will soon be shown in cinemas.
On that occasion, Seung Ho was unexpectedly asked about his past job as Red Velvet's bodyguard. "I heard you once worked as a bodyguard at Red Velvet's fansigning event," asked MC Jaejae.
Seung Ho also talked about how he first started working as a bodyguard for Red Velvet. "After stopping playing football, the thing I wanted to do most was get a part-time job," he said. The actor was offered a job by his friend as a bodyguard.
"One of my school friends worked part-time for a security team at a shopping mall near my house, so I followed them and joined the team after the interview. Sometimes, they assigned me close protection duties," he added.
At that time, Seung Ho was finally assigned as Red Velvet's bodyguard. "I heard Red Velvet was coming that day and they asked me to be their bodyguard. I didn't even know there was a photo that captured that moment," he recalled.
After some time passed, Seung Ho debuted as an actor. However, he apparently forgot that he was Red Velvet's bodyguard. "While shooting the film with Irene, the director asked me if we had met before, but I answered 'No'," he said.
After filming for some time, Seung Ho finally remembered that he had been Red Velvet's bodyguard. "We started shooting like that and when we got to episode 10, I suddenly remembered that I had already met her (Irene)," continued Seung Ho.
Seung Ho watched the video again which showed that he had been Red Velvet's bodyguard. "I saw the video and realized that the manager who was with Irene also appeared on the shooting location," continued Seung Ho. What do you think? (wk/charity)
