Min Hee Jin visited the Yongsan Police Station in Seoul on July 9. The CEO of ADOR and boss of NewJeans will be investigated regarding demands from its parent company, HYBE, for alleged breach of trust.
Hee Jin arrived with a smile at the police station around 13:38 KST and faced investigation for about 8 hours. In the evening, the woman left the police station and still looked fresh and smiled broadly at reporters.
Hee Jin also revealed that the police investigation that day was actually not on schedule. "Today's investigation was not scheduled, but I wanted to come because I had a lot to say and felt relieved to tell the truth," he said.
Hee Jin continued to emphasize that HYBE's accusations were like comedy for him. "The alleged breach of duty is like a comedy to me. I have a lot of additional evidence to submit, which I will do through my lawyer," he added.
Finally, Hee Jin explained the reason why the investigation against him took so long. "It took a long time because I had a lot of things to say. Because HYBE was the one who filed the complaint, it took time," he concluded.
Hee Jin's statement after undergoing a long police investigation immediately attracted the attention of netizens. Many people misfocused on Hee Jin's bright expression, which was really unusual compared to the gloomy faces of people who had just finished being investigated by the police.
