Nam Yoon Su has not had any acting projects throughout 2024. Apparently, this actor who was born in 1997 deliberately took a hiatus from the entertainment industry to prepare for his kidney donation operation for his father.
According to a report released by SPOTV media, Yoon Su underwent a kidney transplant operation for his father on June 19. Currently, Yoon Su's condition as the donor and his father have recovered quickly and have been released from the hospital.
SPOTV also revealed the touching attitude of Yoon Su, who deliberately stopped all his activities from the beginning of 2024. This is done to maintain good condition for undergoing kidney transplant surgery.
The hospital that performed the transplant operation revealed Yoon Su's good attitude during the process. "Nam Yoon Su's bright smile and kind heart who always show a bright and positive attitude have brought good results," said the hospital.
"We pray that he (Yoon Su) will grow into a great star who will have a good influence on our society in the future," added the hospital. They also posted photos of Yoon Su with the nurses.
The news that Yoon Su donated a kidney to his father immediately attracted the attention of netizens. "Oh my gosh, that's really good, Mas Yoonsu niii. Stay happy yaaa[sic!]," wrote one netizen. "Not only is her smile really beautiful but her heart is too [sic!]," added another.
