 Lee Sung Kyung has not confirmed his latest drama or film project. However, it was recently reported that the actress would play Princess Jasmine in the musical 'Aladdin'.


Lee Sung Kyung has recently become the talk of Chinese netizens. Not without reason, the actress, born in 1990, was highlighted because of her actions in protecting fans from bodyguards while at the airport.


Videos circulating on social media show Sung Kyung preventing bodyguards from hurting fans who were jostling to approach her. The actress seemed to show an annoyed expression at her bodyguards.


However, Sung Kyung smiled and waved at the fans who were waiting for her at the airport. Sung Kyung's actions were apparently compared to the excessive behavior of Byeon Woo Seok's bodyguard which recently sparked controversy.


Netizens really praised Sung Kyung's actions in giving attention to her fans. "He is much better than other people whose bodyguards (Woo Seok) shine flashlights in their fans' faces[sic!]," wrote one netizen.

On the other hand, Sung Kyung has not confirmed his latest drama or film project. However, it was recently reported that the actress will play the character of Princess Jasmine in the musical "Aladdin" which will be held in the second half of 2024.


The musical "Aladdin" will feature daring adventures, classic entertainment, a timeless love story and true friendship. This musical follows Aladdin's journey in the mystical kingdom of Agrabah. The musical is based on the Disney animated film "Aladdin".
