BTS's Jin Allegedly Wearing Wig During the 2024 Paris Olympic Torch Relay

Jin was seen wearing an official white torchbearer uniform during the 2024 Paris Olympics torch relay on July 14. The idol received the Olympic flame from the previous runner.

Jin BTS was appointed as the torch bearer for the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics. The appearance of the BTS member on the streets of Rue de Rivoli made visitors rush to see his handsome face.

However, Jin apparently made netizens the wrong focus because he was suspected of wearing a wig at the event. Netizens noticed that the bangs on Jin's forehead had become longer, different from his appearance at the airport when he left for Paris.

Jin's appearance with the addition of this wig sparked debate. "She looks so much better without the wig[sic!]," wrote one netizen. "He looks good with everything, but cooler with the wig so I like him more[sic!]," added another.

"I didn't even know he was wearing wigs. They look very natural. He looks cute in both [sic!]," said another netizen. "He looks cuter without the wig [sic!]," added another. "Hah, I don't know. He's really cute," continued another netizen.

On the other hand, Jin was seen wearing an official white torchbearer uniform in Paris on July 14. The idol received the Olympic flame from previous runners, who arrived on bicycles, prompting loud cheers and applause from the audience.

Genie carried the torch from Rue de Rivoli to Carrousel Square, passing through important parts of Paris. The singer of "The Astronaut" handed over the flame to Sandra Laoura, a former French freestyle skiing champion, in front of the Louvre Pyramid. After completing the approximately 10-minute torch relay segment, Jin waved to the audience, ending his role.

Jin expressed his gratitude for getting this valuable opportunity. He stated, "It is an honor to be a part of this very meaningful moment. I was able to fulfill the extraordinary role of torchbearer thanks to ARMY. I am very grateful."

Jin continued, "I was very nervous because time was flying by, but the loud cheers from everyone present helped me finish it to the best of my ability. I hope all members of the South Korean national team can achieve good results, because they have worked hard. I will support them wholeheartedly." (wk/charity)
