Chuu Reveals His Impressions During 7 Years of Debut Until the Release of New Songs as a Soloist (X @chuu_atrp)
Recently, soloist Chuu just released his newest song entitled "Strawberry Rush".
This song was released to be more precise on June 25 2024 with a concept that is fresh, beautiful, cute, with a slight tomboyish touch.
Even though this beautiful soloist has been in her career for 7 years (1 year releasing solo songs as an introduction to LOONA members before debut, 4 years as a LOONA member, and 2 years again as a soloist after leaving LOONA), it turns out that Chuu still feels like she is still a rookie, aka a soloist. Star News Korea exclusively conducted an interview with the ATRP agency's soloist at a cafe in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, South Korea and discussed his 2nd mini album.
Before making his solo comeback, Chuu revealed, "I feel like I haven't been optimal in showing something as good and energetic as this album since my activities in the group LOONA until my first solo album, "Howl"." said the soloist whose full name is Kim Ji Woo.
"That's why I want to release this mini album, because it gives me strength, comfort and encouragement. I've been waiting for the right time to return." he continued.
Chuu further added that she felt livelier, warmer, and could appear with a touch of tomboyish style in this latest mini album.
"Even the lyrics in the song "Strawberry Rush" are really funny, there are several people commenting on what the lyrics mean. But I made these lyrics as a picture of a journey that is full of confidence and a childish spirit that feels natural."
Not only that, Chuu also believes that making a comeback in the summer is important and necessary.
"To be honest, I'm quite nervous about making a comeback in the summer with a great lineup of seniors, but I'm also doing this to have fun and show my colors." said the soloist who was born on October 20 1999.
