EXID's Hani's fiancé Yang Jae Woong's clinic is currently receiving public attention. This is because SBS News recently reported that a female patient died on May 27. The clinic is currently being investigated by the police.
Regarding the incident, Hani's fiancé's clinic has spoken out stating, "On the day of the accident, the doctor on duty was on duty, and we have been regularly conducting training for emergency response, including CPR. We plan to fully cooperate with the investigation."
Jae Woong's agency, which handles the man's activities in the entertainment industry, has also spoken out. However, they stated, "We only handle his broadcasting activities, so we cannot confirm matters related to his private practice."
Previously, SBS News revealed that a 33-year-old woman, referred to as A, died at a psychiatric clinic in Bucheon, Gyeonggi Province. A was undergoing treatment for an addiction to diet pills containing narcotics.
Security camera footage from Hani's fiancé's clinic shows A holding her stomach in pain. Despite being clearly distressed, the woman was only given medication and then tied to the bed by a nurse and a caregiver.
About an hour later, A experienced symptoms of a nosebleed and heavy breathing. They eventually untied her and administered emergency treatment. However, A lost consciousness and tragically passed away, with the suspected cause being pseudo-obstruction.
The deceased's family claimed, "He (Jae Woong) was a famous psychiatrist, and he talked about his addiction program on TV, which is why we came to his clinic." A's family then expressed their frustration with the clinic's handling of the situation.
Meanwhile, Hani and Jae Woong announced their plans to get married in September, after four years of dating. Jae Woong recently revealed on a TV program that Hani was the one who proposed to him, which caught the public's attention. (wk/amal)
