Ahn Hyo Seop revealed the difficulties he experienced when he first moved to Korea which made him uncomfortable. It is known that the actor grew up in Canada.
Ahn Hyo Seop is known as an actor who grew up in Canada. The man born in 1995 moved to South Korea at the age of 17 to pursue an acting career. However, Hyo Seop initially did not feel at home living in Korea because of cultural differences.
The actor expressed this when he was a guest star on "Salon Drip" on July 16. "Even though I am Korean, I grew up elsewhere, so there is an idea of who I should be," said the star of the drama "Business Proposal".
Hyo Seop then revealed the difficulties he experienced when he first moved to Korea which made him uncomfortable. "At first it was very difficult. I actually wanted to run away after just three days. The new environment was overwhelming, and I missed my family," he added.
Luckily, Hyo Seop was able to survive. "But, things are getting better. I wouldn't say I'm just surviving, I think I'm just adapting well. Luckily, no one is making things difficult for me," he continued.
Hyo Seop then talked about his recent holiday to Los Angeles. "I went to LA, and the weather was nice. My skin got a tan from spending so much time in the sun," she confided.
Hyo Seop spends time relaxing, swimming, eating, and enjoying coffee while daydreaming. "It was my first holiday in almost six or seven years, so it was a very memorable trip," he recalled.
Hyo Seop was asked whether he had ever considered a stage name before his debut. The actor apparently once thought about using the name Anthony. MC Jang Do Yeon jokingly said the name was similar to H.O.T.'s Tony Ahn.
"Oh right! I completely forgot about that, it was just a fleeting thought. Nothing else," said Hyo Seop. The conversation turned to Hyo Seop's life path. If he doesn't debut as an actor, Hyo Seop admits that he might enter the business world.
"Honestly, I think I will go into business or something creative. Maybe something like sculpting or painting, anything I can create," answered Hyo Seop. What do you think? (wk/charity)
