Girl group Dreamcatcher is confirmed to be releasing their new song on July 10, 2024.
The girl group consisting of JiU, SuA, Siyeon, Handong, Yoohyeon, Dami, and Gahyeon will make their comeback with their 10th mini album entitled "VirtuouS".
However, surprising news came from this girl group, which debuted on January 13 2017.
One of the members, Siyeon, was confirmed to be absent from group activities due to health problems.
This was officially announced by the Dreamcatcher Company on July 5 2024. Here's the announcement:
"Hello.
This is Dreamcatcher Company.
We would like to inform you about the health status and activities of one of the Dreamcatcher members, namely Siyeon.
Siyeon recently came to the hospital due to her deteriorating health and anxiety disorder, the medical staff advised that she should get enough rest and relaxation.
We highly prioritize our artist's health and after sufficient discussion with Siyeon, we decided to focus on her recovery.
Therefore, the promotion of the 10th mini album "VirtuouS" will be carried out with 6 members (JiU, SuA, Handong, Yoohyeon, Dami, and Gahyeon), so we hope for your understanding. We will inform you again if Siyeon can resume her activities in the future.
We sincerely apologize for making fans worry, and we will do our best so that Siyeon can return to her fans in good health.
