Recently, the rock band from England, namely Coldplay, again showed its closeness to the boy group from South Korea, namely BTS.
On June 29, Coldplay again performed the song "My Universe" in collaboration with BTS in 2021 at their appearance at the Glastonbury Festival in England.
Featuring a refreshing melody coupled with soothing Korean lyrics from the boy group BTS.
The song became a global hit and topped the US Billboard Main Single Chart HOT 100 immediately after its release.
Before starting to sing the song "My Universe", Coldplay's vocalist, Chris Martin, did not hesitate to show his affection for BTS by saying "They are undergoing military service now, so we will sing all the way to Korea! Let's sing together.”
He then shouted, “Our brothers, BTS! We send so much love to you," showing his closeness to the boy group BTS, several of whose members are currently serving in the military.
Even while performing the song "My Universe", Chris Martin also sang several Korean lyrics which were part of the boy group BTS when they collaborated previously.
Apart from collaborating on the song "My Universe", Coldplay also participated in writing, composing and arranging BTS Jin's first solo single "The Astronaut" before he enlisted in the military.
Chris Martin also makes a surprise appearance in the music video for the song.
As an expression of gratitude, Jin BTS performed the song "The Astronaut" at the Coldplay concert in Buenos Aires, Argentina. /KBI Zoom
