Lee Jeong Hoon told about the cultural differences between Indonesians and Koreans regarding wedding preparations.

According to Lee Jeong Hoon, Indonesians can get married even if they don't have financial security.

"It's different from Indonesia. We'll get married first, then we'll make money together," said Lee Jeong Hoon, quoted from YouTube Kitchen Talk Online on Monday (6/6/20220).

On the other hand, Lee Jeong Hoon revealed that Koreans are reluctant to get married if they do not have high financial stability.

"On average Koreans have to have a car, a house, at least they have money in their savings before getting married," said Lee Jeong Hoon.

For example, Lee Jeong Hoon said that Koreans are still not ready to get married even though they have an income of IDR 30 million per month.

"My friend in Korea doesn't get married. (He answered) I don't have Rp. 1 billion yet, it's a new Xenia car, and sometimes the income is Rp. 20 to Rp. 30 million a month, which is still not enough," he said.

The reason is, Lee Jeong Hoon emphasized that Koreans don't want to build their household relationships aground because of financial problems.

"Even though (if) it is considered enough, it is enough. No, they want it to be safe and peaceful before getting married. So that the wife doesn't suffer like that," he said.

In this regard, a number of netizens also gave various responses and comments.

"It means that we are grateful that we live in Indonesia," wrote a netizen, "Agree with the Korean way of thinking because household is not an easy thing to do," said another netizen, "Korea is tough," said another netizen. /voice.com
