Actress Han Hyo Joo officially joined the Honor Society after donating 100 million KRW or approximately IDR 1.3 billion to help people in need.

The Honor Society is a group of people who have donated more than 100 million KRW which was founded in December 2007 by the Fruit Love Community Chest of Korea.

Reported by Allkpop, Thursday (24/02/2022), the Social Welfare Community Chest said Han Hyo Joo joined the Honor Society by making a donation on her birthday, which is February 22, 2022.

Han Hyo Joo is known to have donated more than 100 million KRW over the past 19 years and she has been named one of the honorary members of society in South Korea.

The donation will be used to help people who need basic needs, education, nutritious food and bridge the information technology gap.

Han Hyo Joo is also known as a donor at a Foundation in South Korea. He has contributed to the cost of living for the underprivileged parents, children and youth. He also donated 20 Million KRW to restore the damage caused by the Gangwon forest fire and donated 100 million KRW to the National Disaster Relief Association. /celebrties.id
