On Thursday (17/2), JTBC released a poster for its new drama, 'My Liberation Diary'. To accompany the release, the production team also gave interesting leaks like this.
JTBC has shared the first teaser poster for its new drama "My Liberation Diary". Along with that, the production team also gave interesting spoilers about this drama.
"My Liberation Diary" will tell the story of three siblings who want to escape their stifling lives as well as a mysterious outsider who comes to their city. This drama stars Kim Ji Won, Lee Min Ki, Son Seok Gu and Lee El.
Kim Ji Won plays Yum Min Jung, the youngest child in her family who is born introvert and shy who lives life feeling completely alone. He ends up trying to make changes to "free" himself from the dreary monochrome life.
Lee Min Ki will play Yum Chang Hee, Yum Min Jung's middle child and older brother. He had hoped to move to the city to experience a more interesting life, but things didn't go according to plan. Despite having no goals, dreams or ambitions, everything he said was always very logical.
Lee El will play Yum Ki Jung, the eldest son with a fiery personality who only behaves well on payday. Yum Ki Jung, who feels he has wasted his youth for work, hopes to find his love.
Lastly, Son Seok Gu plays Mister Gu, a charming yet mysterious outsider who suddenly finds himself in their town. No one knew who he was, and his arrival was very confusing because the city was so boring. Mr. Gu who seems to have gone through many misfortunes and lost his way in life, begins to experience an interesting story when he meets Yum Min Jung.
The newly released teaser poster shows the incredibly realistic daily life of the three brothers. They seemed to be crammed into the train to go to work and looked very tired from their boring life. There was not the slightest bit of joy on their faces so viewers could sympathize easily.
In line with the Yum brothers, Master Gu also wore a gloomy expression while walking on the platform. His shoulders were slightly bent and his appearance looked quite disheveled. The mood was made even more heartbreaking with a caption that read, "This is completely normal. I was hoping someone would save me."
Along with the release of the poster, the production team of "My Liberation Diary" also gave an interesting leak about the plot of this drama. They stated that "My Liberation Diary" will present various realistic stories that relate to viewers' lives.
The production team stated, "This is a drama containing emotional moments that everyone has experienced, at least once in life. The realistic but funny story will convey deep sympathy and comfort. We hope that 'My Liberation Diary' will bring 'freedom' small to the daily life of viewers.
Meanwhile, "My Liberation Diary" is prepared to replace the broadcast slot for "Forecasting Love and Weather" on Saturday - Sunday night JTBC. The plan, the drama directed by "The Light in Your Eyes" will start airing in April. (wk/eval)
