Kim Ha Neul Often Watches TV Shopping Channels to Maximize the MC Role in 'Kill Heel'

Kim Ha Neul with Lee Hye Young and Kim Sung Ryung who play characters with fierce competition in the tvN drama 'Kill Heel' is certainly a challenge for this one actress.

Ahead of the broadcast of his new drama, Kim Ha Neul - who is the main character of "Kill Heel" - shared his thoughts on his role which created a much different image from the previous project.

On Tuesday (15/2), tvN's new Wed-Thu drama "Kill Heel" presented its main cast at a press conference that was broadcast live online. The drama cast members were Kim Ha Neul, Lee Hye Young and Kim Sung Ryung.

As is known, "Kill Heel" is a drama depicting the endless desires and desperate struggles of three women who work on a home shopping channel. Kim Ha Neul takes on the role of host Woo Hyun who is aiming for the host position of the top UNI home shopping show with squirming desire.

"I've been wanting to shoot with female actresses for several years. Incidentally, I mostly work with male actors. Of course, there is joy in exchanging breaths with male actors and there is also a lot of fun in works with strong melodic characters, but I want to tell a story full of emotions," said Kim Ha Neul.

"This is completely different from the acting I've done before so I told the director several times that this is my first time acting like this. I feel the charm and joy in it," said Kim Ha Neul.

Kim Ha Neul admitted that he liked the character of the host in the drama "Kill Heel". "I watch a lot of home shopping channels. They have clear poses and hand gestures. I try to do that part naturally as much as possible. Being a home shopping show host is the most difficult because it's a sentence that has to come out without going through any emotions. We made a lot of mistakes during the first shoot," he said.

Meanwhile, the drama "Kill Heel" will premiere on February 23. This drama will attract attention because of the obvious battle for a career in the world of TV shopping. (wk/taki)
