Recently, Kim Da Mi underwent an interview to discuss the drama "Our Beloved Summer" which ended in January. He talked about many interesting things, including the most memorable scenes in this drama.
First of all, Kim Da Mi revealed the reason for the drama's popularity. He said, "It might be fantasy-like because it's so realistic. But it seems all the characters are loved because there's a lot of sympathy and there aren't any villains."
He continued, "I tried to adapt to the set as much as possible. How can I make the chemistry with Ung (Choi Woo Shik) look natural? Our ten-year relationship. This helped me capture the character of Kook Yeon Soo."
Kim Da Mi then revealed a memorable scene for her. He explained, "The scene where Kook Yeon Soo picks cherry blossoms and sprays water on Ung is the most appropriate initial scene to portray Kook Yeon Soo's character."
He added, "He's not interested in romantic things. This is the only thing he can do for her. It's Kook Yeon Soo's only method."
In addition, Kim Da Mi also chose the kiss scene on the hill as her favorite. "The kiss scene with Ung on the hill is also memorable because of the good location," said the 1995-born actress.
Lastly, Kim Da Mi revealed that her synchronization with Kook Yeon Soo was pretty good. Especially since they have very similar personalities.
"I think 60-70 percent. He is similar to me in real life, because Yeon Soo always hides what he feels. However, Yeon Soo's story has some differences with mine," he concluded.
Meanwhile, "Our Beloved Summer" has aired its last episode on January 25. This drama brings a happy ending where Choi Ung and Kook Yeon Seo finally get married and shoot a new documentary.
