APRIL's disbandment at the end of January took all fans by surprise. How not, this one girl group has not made a comeback since 2021 after tripping over a bullying scandal.

APRIL's disbandment in the midst of the controversy it has faced related to bullying cases since early 2021 is still a big question. How not, the two related parties continue to appeal in the legal realm, making the public confused about the results.

However, one of his former members, Chaekyung, recently posted a long message on his Instagram story. What's interesting is that this idol seems to have written an ambiguous message, giving rise to other speculations.

"As a public figure, I know that every word I say is important and can affect widely. That's why I'm more careful and nervous. Sorry I can't protect everyone. It's too late, but I hope everyone is always happy. I always apologizing, and thank you," he said.

It is not clear why Chaekyung uploaded a post that partially expressed his apology to the public. Apart from that, not long after Chaekyung made the statement, another news came from a former APRIL member who was allegedly the victim of bullying by its former members, Lee Hyunjoo. It is known that Hyunjoo has been acquitted of charges related to the bullying case.

On February 23, Hyun Joo's attorney announced that the court had officially rejected DSP Media's appeal. According to Hyunjoo's attorney, the appeal from DSP Media was rejected because there was no mistake regarding Hyunjoo's admission that he was a victim of bullying.

In simple terms, the court rejected DSP Media's claim which appealed to Hyunjoo for defamation. However, until now there has been no clarity and proof whether the former APRIL member really bullied Hyunjoo as the alleged victim has admitted.

Meanwhile, some fans were worried about Chaekyung's sudden post that appeared after APRIL disbanded. APRIL debuted in the music industry in 2015 with their first mini album "Dreaming". Since then, Hyunjoo withdrew from the group in 2016 and in 2021 it was revealed that his party had been bullied by the members while still joining. (wk/taki)
