Of the total 39 agency representatives, 25 of them voted for BTS as the 'Best K-Pop Artist of 2021'. This is undeniable, considering that this year BTS managed to make history and achieve various achievements, from topping the Billboard Hot 100 chart, winning the American Music Awards to being nominated for the Grammy Awards.
In second place was solo singer IU who managed to get a total of 3 votes. Since the beginning of the year until the end of the year, IU is known to have managed to top the Korean music charts with the albums and singles she has released.
