Jo Jung Suk talked about the award he won thanks to the 'Hospital Playlist' OST.
On Thursday (10/06) at 14.00 KST, the drama 'Hospital Playlist 2' held a press conference which was attended by director Shin Won Ho and the cast such as Jo Jung Suk, Yoo Yeon Seok, Jung Kyung Ho, Kim Dae Myeong and Jeon Mido.
In a question and answer session with the media, Jo Jung Suk was asked about his achievements on the music chart with the OST 'Hospital Playlist' entitled 'Aloha'.
When asked about the award he received for the song and whether he had any expectations for the 'Hospital Playlist 2' OST, Jo Jung Suk commented, "Thank you for the song that received a lot of love. I'm an actor, but I got the OST award last year. And I feel very grateful to the director and stars of 'Hospital Playlist'. It's rare for a song to have that kind of success, which is why I didn't expect that kind of success in terms of music in season 2.”
"In season 2 the song is a little difficult, I can't tell the title. So I always sing alone to practice vocals and I've been in musicals, so I reminisce about those days. So I've done my best and I hope for the best. But I didn't expect much. Because what happened in the first season was something really spectacular and it will continue to be an honor for me."
The drama 'Hospital Playlist 2' will air its first episode on tvN and Netflix starting June 17. (www.kpopchart.net)
