GFRIEND's Umji recently expressed her apologies for not recognizing her own family.
The former GFRIEND personnel recently held a question and answer session for fans on Instagram Story.
One fan then wrote, “I love you and I miss you so much. I don't know if you'll read this, but I'm Umji's cousin. Lee Seok Woo, who lives in Ulsan.”
After reading the comments, Umji immediately replied, "Nice to meet you. I miss you too and I feel grateful. But I never met Lee Seok Woo in my life. I have a good memory when it comes to family and cousins. Even so, I hope that Lee Seok Woo who lives in Ulsan is always healthy.”
However, not until a day after uploading the post, Umji uploaded the latest post and apologized. He wrote, “Ah, I'm really sorry. Seok Woo who lives in Ulsan. It turns out that you are the son of my biological uncle. I heard you are a kind and sincere person. Even though we've never met, I heard you've always supported me from afar.”
“My mother used to compliment you when she told me about you. I also heard about your beautiful wedding. I'm really sorry to fans and Seok Woo who wrote comments. Please forgive my mistake. May you live a good and beautiful life with your wife and children. Ha… I really am an idiot,” he wrote.
