On this day, Monday (7/6), Hanteo Chart announced that the album sold a total of 630,563 copies in its first week of release (31 May to 6 June). This is more than double TXT's previous first-week sales record of 303,190 set by their 2020 mini album. “minisode1: Blue Hour.”

According to Hanteo Chart, "The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE" achieved the second highest first week sales of any album released by a boy group in 2021. They were only beaten by "Hot Sauce" released by NCT DREAM so far.

In addition, in just two years of their debut, TXT has now achieved quite an impressive feat. They recorded the sixth highest first week sales of any boy group in Hanteo's history. This record follows BTS (Bangtan Boys), SEVENTEEN (II), NCT DREAM and EXO.

On the other hand, TXT has just launched the promotion schedule for “Magic”, one of the B-sides of “The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE”. Different from other songs, this is TXT's English song in the album. It's not surprising that in the schedule, the group is more focused on promoting in America.

TXT's comeback album is known to contain 8 songs. The eight songs include their title track, "0X1 = LOVESONG (I Know I Love You) Feat. Seori". This album features songs that have various genres. Some time ago, after the tracklist was released, fans were surprised to see the name RM (Rap Monster) credited as the lyricist for TXT's upcoming 2nd full album.

The tracklist also features a plethora of amazing producers and songwriters. Lyricist and composer danke who has worked with groups such as BTS and NCT 127, HYBE founder Bang Si Hyuk (also known as "hitman" bang) participated in the album. (wk/putr)
