RM (Rap Monster) and Jimin BTS reportedly bought the most expensive apartment unit in South Korea. This news apparently sparked the anger of netizens who were strongly suspected of being Samsung employees.

According to reports, Jimin and RM bought their own space at the Nine One Hannam complex in Seoul, which is the most expensive apartment complex in Korea. RM bought the second apartment from the smallest (293.93 ) in the complex.

The BTS (Bangtan Boys) leader spent about 5.7 million USD (Rp 81.2 billion) in cash without a loan on March 31, 2021. He officially became the owner of the apartment on May 25.

Meanwhile, Jimin also bought an apartment of the same size in the complex for around 5.3 million USD (Rp 75.5 billion) without a loan as well. He officially became the owner on May 26. The difference in the price of the two idols' apartments comes from the additional terrace space provided at RM's place.

After hearing the news about BTS's RM and Jimin buying a luxury apartment in cash, a netizen posted on the "Blind" app saying, "I'm going crazy after seeing that BTS bought a house. To be honest, they only became popular because they were lucky."

"Didn't I work harder in life? Did they ever take college entrance exams? Did they attend four years of college? Did they ever have to take an aptitude test?" he continued with anger.

"I worked really hard, forced myself to do work I didn't want to do, and am still struggling to buy a house. These people did whatever they wanted before being lucky and having great success. Honestly this makes me really angry."

Given that "Blind" requires its users to provide proof of employment, it is very likely that the netizen is an employee of Samsung SDI. But Samsung, which has now contracted BTS as a model, has yet to respond to this issue.

Netizens on the other hand commented, "You can't say this if you know the hard work BTS put in to get to this point. How did you get into Samsung with such a brain? No matter how much hard work BTS put in, you have to admit that the difference in income is too big." (wk/chus)
