The SM Entertainment agency finally responded to the news that Red Velvet would make a comeback in August.
On Wednesday (09/05), the Herald POP media reported that Red Velvet will make a comeback in August.
In response to the report, SM Entertainment stated to Newsen media, "Red Velvet is preparing a new album with a target release in August. Please look forward to it.”
This will be Red Velvet's first comeback after releasing the repackage album 'The ReVe Festival: Finale' and the music video for 'Psycho' in 2019.
After the comeback with 'Psycho', Red Velvet members were busy with their respective activities, ranging from acting projects, the debut project of Red Velvet's sub-unit Irene-Seulgi, to Wendy and Joy's solo debut projects.
